The PADI Discover Scuba Dive is for people who would like to try diving for the first time and this takes just half a day. It involves a briefing from the instructor about diving – what to expect and what happens to you when you dive, followed by a swimming pool session to learn some basic skills. After this we then take you on a dive in the ocean to a maximum depth of 12metres. It is perfect for anyone who is not sure if they are going to enjoy diving, or doesn’t have enough time to complete the Open Water course. It is exactly the same as day 1 of the open water course, so anyone who does this DSD has the option to continue to the Open Water course. There is no extra charge for doing it this way as the 900,000rp would be part of the 5,500,000rp for the whole course and not extra.
